We have had a significant amount of rain recently and the course is exceptionally soft and wet. The greens staff are not taking heavy equipment on the course, and neither should members. We all have a duty to look after the course and ensure that it is in the best possible condition once drier weather returns. Recently the greens staff are seeing an increase in damage to the course caused by members taking their personal "ride on" buggies, and electric trolleys, over inappropriate areas.

Personal "ride on" buggies should use the paths at all times and preferably drive up the rough (not the fairway). No buggies, or electric trolleys, should be taken near the greens, nor between the bunkers and the greens. Please try to keep heavy equipment away from the soft greens otherwise buggy and trolley bans may need to be considered (which non of us want to see).

Please also respect the greens staff if they advise you to move your equipment, buggy or trolley.

Hopefully, with consideration from all members, we will all have a superb course and greens to play on come the summer months.
