After many discussions at the last few committee meetings prompted by requests from members. We have discussed and came up with the following guidance going forward for the season starting April 2023.

Matchplay competitions
Any member wishing to compete in a handicap matchplay competition must have submitted three counting scores towards their handicap record within the previous 12 month period. These can be medal competitions or general play scores, failure to do so means you will not be included in the draw. This is in line with guidance from the SGU. 

Both parties are mutually responsible for arranging a date to play any ties and posting the result on the board. Failure to do so will result in both parties being removed from the competition. 
Any issues with ties please contact the match secretary as soon as possible.
