Seniors' Captain's Day....
.....a great day was had by all!
33 golfers turned out for Steve Steels' Seniors' Captain's Day and the sun shone for them! Coffee and biscuits awaited them on arrival then 18 holes of golf followed by food prepared by the catering team. The results are as follows:
Putting Competition - Leroy Lucas who scored 40 points
Nearest the Pins - Hole 3 Keith Partridge; Hole 4 Rob Warlow; Hole 11 Leroy Lucas and Hole 12 Eddie Grange. Nearest the Pin in 2 on Hole 18 was Graham East.
Ladies Competition was won by Jayne Cowles
Men's Competition- 1st Gavin Heaton 39pts (acb); 2nd Eddie Grange 39; 3rd Keith Partridge 38 (acb); 4th Steve Sayer 38; 5th Roy Bennett 36 (acb); 6th Pete Vinter 36. In total an amazing £1,000 was raised for Pancreatic Cancer UK. Well done to all the winners and thank you to all those who took part - you all helped to achieve this amazing sum for charity.
