Born too Soon and roll-up results
Friday morning saw the Stage Golfing Society’s charity day in aid of Born Too Soon. It looks like our regular charity MC had been sat down as Basil Brush commanded the room during the lunch festivities.
Obviously there was no grudge to bear as John is seen here receiving his longest drive prize from Basil’s better half - aka SGS captain Mike Winsor.
Congratulations to Mike Winsor and John Peters (seen here discussing desert) and everyone else involved in creating a very successful day.
And, meanwhile, IPIPC Board Member, Tamsin Loke is clearly plotting something with other half, Member for Course, Rob Hunter - it’s the rubbing of hands together that give it way Rob!
Out on the course, after the BTS matches, was a smaller than usual field for the Friday Roll-up. Ray Crotty took the honours.
The Sunday Roll-up field of twenty was won by Kara Catt with 40 points, off an already cut roll-up handicap. Cut by two more may stop any of that malarkey in the future. Paul Marples was runner up with Stuart Rollings in third. Kara, Paul, Tamsin Loke and Stephen Nabarro all had two’s
