Bowood Cornwall Bowl Team Cruise to Victory
Bowood vs Truro at Merlin GC- Sunday 8th October
On Sunday 8th of October Bowood Park competed in the first round of the Cornwall Bowl 2023/2024 against Truro Golf Club at Merlin Golf Club.
The pairings were-
Len Flower & Howard Smith (Won 2&1)
Patrick Curtis & Phil Purnell (Lost 4&3)
Sam Chapman & Darren Pearce (Won 5&4)
Lee Bowers & Colin Pitcher (Won 2&1)
Pete Rabson & David Parsons (Won 4&3)
The team performed excellently and came out victorious 4-1 over Truro GC and we will proceed into the next round against Cape Cornwall which will be played on either the 4th or 5th of November at a neutral venue.
