Protecting Greens Surrounds
New Lines & Stencils
As we enter the wetter and colder period of the year, we must start protecting the green surrounds to ensure they are playable all throughout the winter.
Instead of the old ‘Post & Rope’ protection which can cause obstructions and look quite unsightly, this year, we have decided to trial painted lines/stencils. The picture attached is an example that George and his team implemented yesterday morning on the 2nd hole.
We will of course be monitoring the damage and wear whilst these lines are in use, If we feel they are not being abided to, we will have to revert back to ‘Post & Rope’ protection.
