Sky’s the Limit in Ladies Match!
Ladies smash second leg in Pearson fixture
The ladies played one of their Pearson matches, last Monday, at home against Hoebridge. The Pearson is a winter Surrey inter-club knock competition and, having lost away to Hoebridge 5-2, our ladies had a massive task of achieving a 6-1 win, to have any chance of progressing to the next round.
The team of Annette Readings, Lady Captain Enid Hughes, Helen Murray, Denise Lyttle, Linda Gratton, Ann Saunders and Pearson Team Captain, Heidi Patton, rose to the challenge in spectacular fashion, winning a very hard fought contest 6-1. Three matches were won 1 up, two matches 2&1, one match 3&1. The only match lost went down the 19th.
