Players are kindly reminded the volunteer committee administrates all the competitions at the club. The pro shop will try and help but may not have the answers to specific questions regarding competition formats. A general rule of thumb is if you sign in on the computer before you register in the pro shop, you’ll see the format and stroke allowances for the day or call the competition secretary. Our competitions are run per the recommendations of the R&A. As a fail-safe for any club competition, please write your gross score for each hole with your name clearly written and two signatures placed in teh competition slot the card will get processed, whatever the format.
As a broad guide, we only run
Singles Stableford, Medal and bogey 95%
Fourballs Stableford 85%
2 scores from 4 Team events 85%
This is to try and keep things as simple as possible, as anything other than singles seems to cause frustration and angst amongst some players.
