Apologies from the newsroom that we are a little slow off the mark with the HNY stuff but we’re sure there was much of that going around anyway.

What a great year at the club it was. Few minor hiccups with the ‘locker room shoe tapper’ and the ‘quick fag in the trolley shed’ incidents but swiftly brought to everyone’s attention by The Captain and Admin teams.

Unfortunate that, today, the course has been closed and the Stableford postponed but we are due for a dry night so here’s hoping.

I am sure we were all very sorry to hear that Mike Breaking Bad Brown had to stand down from taking on his role of Club Captain next year but equally pleased that he may well be available at a future time.

Subject to ratification at the AGM, Ian Gibb, currently next years VC nominee, will take on captaincy.
