Firstly, I would like to apologise to all members that played over the weekend in relation to the tee marker positions. This drastic measure was taken to protect the teeing surfaces and a communication should have been sent to forewarn all playing. We understand that this was not ideal and thank members for your understanding in this matter.
Fairway Mats
Going fromward I am glad to confirm that Fairway mats no longer need to be used from the 20th March. There will be some areas of the course marked as out of play and drop zones will be clearly marked which you must use.
Multi Tee/Qualifying Competitions
Multi tee competitions will resume from this coming weekend, however please be aware that there are some tees that will be on the large driving range mats to provide protection until such time the teeing surfaces are fully ready for play. During the week, it will remain non qualifying golf until further notice and some winter tees will remain in place.
Pathways
Whilst the paths grow in, there will be some tees that will require you to access them via a longer route than usual. For example, the 5th tee, you will need to access from the front of the tee boxes. Whilst we understand that this is an inconvenience, please could all members adhere to the signage and ropes that are in place and do not walk on the newly sodded pathways. Depending on how the weather goes the new paths will hopefully be in play soon and we appreciate all members taking care of the areas until they are ready for use.
Kind regards,
Ryan Donagher
