Seniors Captain's Drive In 2024
"Mr Plews is Captain's Champ"
Over 58 seniors took part in the recent Seniors Captain Drive In, played in very difficult and trying conditions, but that did not deter Competitions Secretary John Plews in finishing top of the pile by a clear two points and claiming the title for 2024.
There were other winners within the competition, with Graham Davis winning nearest the pin on 5th, and ex-Captain George Legg nearest the pin in two on 14th.
The Captain's charity, Alzheimers research also got off to a brilliant start with over £200.00p donated on the day by those seniors taking part.
