Ladies Get into Golf 2024:
Our 20204 Get into Golf Ladies Class will be welcomed to the Club for the first time this Monday evening at 7pm. The Ladies will be doing a putting class under the guidance of David Hayes PRO and so the Putting Green and the 18th Green will be reserved for this practice session from 7pm to 9pm. All golfers please note that the 18th Hole will not be in play during these times on Monday evening.

Junior Golf 2024:
Our Junior Golf Committee will commence the 20204 Club Junior Golf Programme with an introduction to Golf session for Parents and children at 7pm in the Clubhouse. All are welcome and refreshments will be served. The Juniors will also be using the putting Green for part of Monday evening.
See details of the Junior Programme attached and please let any potential young golfers you know, know about the programme.


Support:
We would ask all our members to support and encourage our new Juniors and Ladies Get into Golf participants - it is important that they all are made feel welcome and supported as they begin to enjoy our course and the game of golf.

Old Golf equipment:
If any members have any old golf clubs, putters or bags that are no longer wanted the club will gladly accept them for use by our new ladies and juniors - please bring them to the clubhouse next time you visit. Thank you.

Course Maintenance:
The course will be closed All Day on Tuesday next 21st May to facilitate a Sanding Programme on the approaches to all 18 Greens. This work is essential and will improve the course condition for all members and visitors to enjoy.

Competitions Fixtures and Calendar of Events:
A new Calendar of Competitions, Club Majors and Events will be published next week.

- Wednesday - Ladies competitions
- Every Thursday and Friday - Open Qualifier, 18 Hole Competition, White Tees S/F (Ladies and Gents)
- Friday Seniors 18 Hole Open, White Tees S/F
- Friday Evenings - Club Mixed Competition
- Saturdays - Sponsored Members 18 Hole (Ladies and Gents), White Tees S/F Competition
- Saturdays & Sundays Sponsored Members 18 Hole Blue Tees S/F Competition (one Entry)

Last Weekend of every Month - Sponsored Monthly Medal Competition, 18 H Blue Tees Strokeplay

Club Reception/Shop:
The Club will have the following Basic Golfing essential available for members and visitors to purchase in our Club Shop from next week - Golf Gloves, Balls, Tees, Accessories, Club Logo Caps, Umbrellas, Towels.
We will also have a limited stock of different coloured Polo Shirts.
