Card Submissions for Effective Handicaps
Golfers All
Please be informed that all members who register on the masterscoreboard or with the starters to play must submit their cards after their round of golf.
It is becoming a national embarrassment that Ikoyi golfers are not playing their real handicaps and this is as a result of non submissions of cards after playing their round of golf.
The submission of cards is very critical as we prepare to implement the World Handicap System (WHS). Only members with sufficient card submissions can achieve valid world handicaps
In order to address the issue of inappropriate handicaps resulting from non submissions of cards, all golfers must therefore submit their scores after any round played on the course. This will help to determine fair handicaps for all golfers.
It is important to note that, Players with non submission of cards on a weekly or monthly basis (cross check bookings/playing against submission on a weekly and monthly basis) will not be eligible to enter or play the next two (2) competitions in Ikoyi Club 1938
