Pro's Day 2024 is upon us and we have switched up the format a little for this year! We will be playing PINEHURST FOURSOMES where the rules are as follows:
It's a two-person team format, and every hole begins with both players on a side playing drives. The two partners walk forward to the golf balls, then they switch golf balls. Golfer A hits Golfer B's ball, from where B's drive came to rest. And Golfer B plays Golfer A's ball, from A's drive came to rest.
After their second shots, the partners compare the results. Which golf ball is in the best position? They select that ball and pick up the other.
From the third stroke on, they play alternate shot until the ball is holed.
INFORMATION ABOUT THE DAY:
We will be running multiple prizes, including nearest the pins, best gross, top 3 nett, and a beat the pro competition! Entry will be £10 per person and 2's competition will be £5 per team, payable by cash or card in the pro shop.
There is a sheet in the bar tonight to secure your favourite tee time, and online booking will go live on Thursday. So grab a partner and get your name down, there is plenty of prizes to be won!
