Links Ladies are in the Grace Norman Semi Finals
Grace Norman Trophy
The Links ladies recorded an excellent victory over Cambridge Country Club (away) on Monday. The Grace Norman Trophy is the Cambs and Hunts Women’s inter club foursomes knockout competition
The team of Marcella Tuttle & Carol Wigham, Lynn Lambert & Teresa Locke and Sarah Greenall & Marian Earle all had extremely close matches. With 2 matches competed honours were even, luckily the last match was secured by Links on the 18th giving us the victory.
The ladies are now through to the semi finals which will be held on 1 August at Brampton Park GC, the final will then be played in the afternoon.
Apparently the last time that we won this trophy was in 1999, it would be nice to win it 25 years later!
