Matthew Dodd-Berry Qualifies for Royal Troon
Hoylake member Matthew Dodd-Berry tied FIRST in Final Qualifying
For those who haven’t seen this news on the club’s social media channels, Hoylake member Matthew Dodd-Berry tied FIRST in Final Qualifying yesterday at West Lancashire Golf Club to grab one of the four spaces on offer. Two rounds of 69 saw him card a superb 6 under par to head a field that included Sergio Garcia. This follows a fabulous quarter final finish in the Amateur Championship at Ballyliffin last month.
Matthew joined Royal Liverpool in 2016 as a 12 year old and now studies Sports Management at East Tennessee State University.
Hoylake members now have two Matthew’s to cheer at Royal Troon later this month!
