£1,458 given to Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI
The Lady Captain recently visited the Patrick G Johnston Centre for Cancer Research at the City Hospital where Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI is based - this was the chosen charity on her recent Lady Captain’s Day. Karen saw around the lab and was humbled and very impressed with all of the world-class research underway.
She then presented a cheque for £1458 - a very impressive sum, raised on Lady Captain’s Day. Thanks to our members and guests for their generous donations to this very worthy charity.
