Thacker Cup (Men’s Club Championship)
Congratulations to Malcolm English!
Many thanks to the 23 men who entered the Club Championship yesterday in glorious sunshine for the chance to win the coveted Thacker Cup. This was an 18-hole medal played off scratch, and won by Malcolm English with an excellent gross score of 67. Huge congratulations to Malcolm and all the winners:-
1st Place - Malcolm English - 67
2nd Place - Aly Andrews - 71
3rd Place - Phil Smye - 74 (on countback from Ivan Green)
Phil Smye was the winner of the Nett Prize with a nett 57. Both Malcolm & Phil achieved nett 57, Aly Andrews was next with nett 58 and he was followed by Alan Connolly & Ivan Green both of whom had nett 59.
