Congratulations to both Matthew Jordan & Matthew Dodd-Berry for their performances at The Open. The first time Royal Liverpool Golf Club was represented by two members in The Open since Ball & Hilton!
Matthew Jordan finished tied for 10th place on level par, securing a place in what will be his third Open at Royal Portrush.
Amateur, Matthew Dodd-Berry, who won the Final Qualifying event at West Lancashire Golf Club to gain a place in his first Open, started with an amazing one-over par (72) in the first round at Troon, before, sadly, missing the cut after the second round.
What an experience for both Hoylake men with much more to come no doubt!
