The Balmore Open Texas Scramble was held today in beautiful weather with the course once again attracting praise from our many visitors and guests, despite recent rainfall.

With a terrific nett score of 47.2 the winners were Balmore members Morgan Dow, Adam Bower, Andy Peoples & Lewis McGlade. They win vouchers of £75 each.

Narrowly beaten into second place with a score of 47.8 were Matt Scott, Alan Muir, Daniel Smith & Darren McEwan, also from Balmore. They win vouchers of £60 each.

Declan Bryson (Balmore), Mark Meechan (Littlehill), Aaron Bryson (Openplay) and Donald Draffan (Bishopbriggs) came third with a score of 48. They win vouchers of £45 each.

Remaining prizewinners as follows:

4th - Alastair Strachan & Brian Welch (Balmore) along with Martin Hennen (Kirkintilloch), and Stephen Brannan (Hayston) with a score of 48.6 - vouchers of £30 each.

5th - William Riddell (Balmore) along with Scott Gibb, Connor Kenyon & Cory Monro from Airdrie with a score of 48.7 - vouchers of £25 each.

6th - Jamie McGinness, John Thomson, Kevin Carr & Michael Welch Jnr from Balmore with a score of 48.9 - vouchers of £20 each.
