Thank you to everyone who took part in and helped to organise Captain’s Day yesterday. The weather forecast changed several times a day in the run up but in the end it was more than kind. The course looked fantastic.

I am grateful to all the section Captain’s for their support on the 1st tee, to Annie for running the raffle the whole day, to Dillon James for gathering so many awesome photos and video and to the Ladies Captain for the delicious food and drink on 11. There was a long list of members who also played their part in organising and delivering the day; they know who they are and huge thanks go to them for their efforts.

Food from Helen was delicious and plentiful and Richard certainly had a busy day behind the bar. Thank you both.

You all dug deep into your pockets to raise well over £1000 in support of Air Ambulance Wales - a fabulous effort. The final and combined figures will be announced after Ladies Captain’s Day this Wednesday.
