MEMBERSHIP UPDATE
A good place to start with the fantastic news that our Seniors have reached the final of the Gilbert Plate Sussex county competition, this is truly record breaking for the club as the quarter finals has been the best achieved previously. The club are immensely proud of all the team members for getting to the final and given the club such great recognition at this level. Well done to John Martin, Rob Price, Paul Baker (Vice Captain), Bill Short, Gordon Fawkes, Jeff Park, Roy Millward, Pete Hulley (Captain), kneeling, George Hayler and Neil Harman.
We all wish the team the very best of luck in the final which is due currently to be played on the 16th September 2024 with the venue being Willingdon Golf Club.
Just a reminder to All Members that when you join you are allocated a CDH number which is printed on your membership card, this gives you access to the World Handicap System thus allowing you to play and enter scores to obtain an official handicap. If you require any help or assistance in knowing how this all works then please speak to Darren or Paul who are only too glad to help.
Darren runs the competitions for the members and Paul currently runs the competitions for the seniors and we are always looking to get more people to play, don’t worry if you are new to competitions we all had to start somewhere and I think you will find everyone very welcoming and social and it would be good to see everyone joining in.
