Congratulations to John Leitch and Robbie Chrystie for making their way through to the final and we were anticipating a keenly contested match between these players. We went out in glorious sunshine with a good sized group of supporters following the match from the outset.
The match did not disappoint with John taking an early lead after 2 holes, Robbie fought back to reach the turn 1up. The back 9 saw Robbie get a 2up lead through 12 and John fought back to have the match tied through 17 in front of an ever growing gallery. Robbie found the green in 2 at 18 and secured a 1up victory over John.
