Golf Shoes In Clubhouse
No longer permitted.
I think we are all appreciative of the hard work and money that has been spent on refurbishing our Clubhouse and I am sure you will agree with me it is a great improvement. It is with deep regret that I have to inform you that a golfer entered the Clubhouse today wearing golf shoes with metal spikes. As such he has damaged the flooring in front of the bar and the kitchen hatch. It has been decided, therefore, that with immediate effect no golf shoes will be permitted in the bar area or function room. This decision has not been taken lightly but it was felt necessary in the circumstances. Please adhere to this new rule and help us to look after our clubhouse.
