On Sunday 1 September 2024 seventeen of our junior members played in the George Willard stableford competition.

All were delighted to be introduced to Anne, the daughter of George Willard who was the professional at Gorleston Golf Club from 1960, and served for 19 years. Anne was also a proficient golfer, who represented her country on many occasions, and has played with the great Seve Ballesteros.

The golf on the day was played to a very high standard on a superb course, so well done to Danny and our green staff for all of your hard work throughout the year.

The winner of the trophy with a fabulous total of 49 points was Herbie Shaw-Clutten (pictured with Anne Willard) followed by Luca Devine-Rushbrooke with 42 points and Archie Darby with 41 points.

Three of our younger juniors followed the field and played in a 9 hole competition.
Leo Hurren came in the winner with 44 points.

Well done to all who entered and congratulations to Herbie and Leo, the winners of the day.

Thanks to our loyal supporters and well done to Duncan for coaching such a fantastic group of youngsters, who just get better and better.
