Seniors Club Championship 2024
Friday 13th September - Lucky For Some!
Tony Buckley and Fred Houchill were the lucky ones on Friday the 13th in the Seniors Club Championships, where Tony won the scratch competition and Fred won the handicap competition.
Tony shot a gross 75 to win the championship, beating Stewart Reeve by just one stroke! Dave Peck finished in 3rd place with a score of 79.
Fred won the handicap competition with a nett score of 62. He beat Dave Peck on countback, and Barry Grant finished in 3rd place with a nett score of 63.
Congratulations to all those who placed in the top 3, and thank you to everyone for supporting the event. We hope to see you all enter again next year.
A special mention for Simon Manning, he had the best nett score on the day of 61, however, he had not played the reqired 54 qualifying holes to be placed in the competition, and so the top spot went to Fred Houchill. Well done Simon, we're sure to see you at the top of another leaderboard soon.
