Paul and Andrew in strong finish to win by 2 shots
Although it was a dry day, an everchanging cold wind tested the players at times but Paul Wright and Andrew Leitch found the conditions to their liking as they stormed back in 28 shots for a 62 to win by 2 shots from Lee Jervis and Mark Ferguson. Paul and Andrew had 3 gross birdies and 2 net birdies in the last 5 holes. Lee and Mark couldn’t match their great play over the first 9 holes, coming back in 33 which included a bogey at the last. In third place on 65 (33+32) were Marc Nelson and Richard Inglis who pipped Kevin Brunton and Richard Boden by a shot.
