2024/25 Winter Leagues for Saturdays & Sundays
Competitions will be as follows:
Singles Stableford Yellow Tees for men & red tees for ladies
Winter Rules apply (Non-qualifiers)
Entry Fee: £3 per round (£2 for that day’s comp, £1 for Winter League pot)
50p for two’s on nominated hole

Starting Handicap: End of Season Handicap Index converted to Course Handicap x 95%
Scores to Count: Best 75% of rounds played
Scoring: 1st Place 3 points (the winner & all tying scores)
2nd Place 2 points (for all with tying scores)
3rd Place 1 point (for all with tying scores)
Handicap reductions: 15% 1st, 10% 2nd and 5% 3rd of handicap index for all points winners
Exceptional Scoring Reductions: In addition, an ESR of 1 stroke will be applied for stableford scores of 43-45 pts & 2 strokes for 46 pts and over.
Reductions will be posted on the noticeboard – enter your gross scores on PSI/HDID App.
Reductions will be made manually by the committee to scores entered on PSI/HDID App.

Any rounds cancelled will NOT be rearranged.
If play-offs are required they will be weekend of 8th/9th March
Winter League Matchplay Final between winner of Saturday league & Sunday league to be played weekend of 15th/16th March
Winter season playing conditions apply to all rounds
i.e. Preferred lies through the greens (therefore NON-QUALIFIERS)
Bunkers: You have three options
1. Play the ball as it lies
2. Lift, rake and place in the bunker as close to original position as possible & play
3. Take relief from the bunker under two shot penalty & play your shot as far back as you like, keeping the bunker in your line of play.

Note: The committee’s decision is final.
Any disqualifications mean that your card will not count.
Players are expected to return their cards for every round & to enter their scores either by PSI terminal in the clubhouse or by the HDID app. Failure to do so may lead to disciplinary action from the committee.
