That Was the Week that Was
Mike Wallis through to 666
Mike Wallis Trophy

The Mike Wallis mixed trophy for the 55+ was played on Wednesday and the NewsRoom was out in a flight with Skip who called 44 being the probable winning score.

Congratulations to Merv Edwards who came in with exactly that and lifted the trophy this year.
Runner-up was Andy Williams on 42, then George Luckraft followed by Mel Atkins both 40

Friday Roll-up

This weeks winner was James Hemings with 40 points with Imtiaz Arian 2nd & Ian Stidworthy 3rd. No change at the top of the leaderboard with Mark Jevons still 3 points ahead of Charlie Browning.

Sunday Roll-up

The Sunday Roll up had 27 participants this morning with a few joiners from the two early out groups

So a “Smash & Grab” for Rich Barlow, one of those joiners, coming in with 39 points, closely followed by Dorje Soley on 38 points and none other than Richard (Lordy) Lord in 3rd place with 37 points just pushing out Alex Morris on countback.

The coveted Summer Order of Merit Trophy was won by David Bradley, who has fought valiantly over the past 6 months, keeping James Drayton at arms length, who came in at second place, with Paul Moran very close behind in third.

There will be no roll up next Sunday 20th due to All Nations day. The Sunday Winter Roll Up will start on 27 October and there will be a comp to play for, most likely best 4 scores over the winter season!
