Now that we have entered the Winter League season, due to our use of preferred lies through the green, competition scores are Not Acceptable for Handicapping Purposes.
However, for all SINGLES competitions, members are still required to ENTER their scores via the PSI terminal or by the HDID app & RETURN their scorecards.
This is applicable even if you:
No Return
Retire hurt
Leave the course because of foul weather
Get abducted by aliens

If you have any issues trying to enter your score then you should advise the committee ASAP via email: drew.rowbottom@outlook.com or secretary@hartcommongolfclub.co.uk

Scorecards should have the following as a MINIMUM:
Player’s name (you would be surprised how many people do not do this)
Gross scores
Player’s & marker’s signatures

Persistent offenders will be suspended from future competitions.
For Doubles/Team competitions, score entry may not be possible, but you should always RETURN your cards.

Your first port-of-call for any queries about competitions should be the noticeboards in the shop. If you haven’t read the board, then please don’t expect the shop staff to know! (please note: “I haven’t brought my reading glasses” is not a reasonable excuse!)
