The Mid-week Stableford saw the podium finishers all coming in on 41 points so countback had to sort out the positions.
James Terry took the honours from Craig Jones then Tim Hutchence. Best gross went to Nick Lloyd with a four under par 66. Four birdies and an eagle in that round!
Friday Roll-up
No separating the top three in last weeks 26 strong Friday Roll-up. Well played James Hemmings, Gary Top Gun Burns and Ian Sempers sharing the spoils with 36 points each. Apologies but the NewsRoom failed to procure a shot of these three musketeers
Presentation Supper
On Friday night the annual presentation supper took place with over 60 guests making it the best turnout to date (had word leaked out it was the AGM hosting proceedings this year?!)
Many thanks to Graham Juber for taking the photographs on the night and if anyone would like a copy of any photograph NewsRoom with this link
Too many to include them all here but a couple to show a feel for the evening

Saturday Stableford
The Saturday Stableford was played on the course still coming back from Autumn maintenance - maybe that kept the scores sub 40.
Congratulations to Bruce Collingwood taking the win with 39 points. Richard Lord was second on 38 from Nicholas Forster on the same. David Phillpot was best gross, with a round of 72 with four birdies
All Nations Trophy - Sunday
Not the best of weather for the postponed All Nations, with the blame around the marquee during lunch being laid firmly at the Captains door!
The Irish took the honours, from second the Scots, third the Welsh, followed by England. The wooden spoon went to the Rest of the World led by Frank Froehlich - at time of going to press Big Frank was unavailable for comment on the demise of last year’s winners.
Victorious Irish Captain, Dave King
Paddy Griffith won best individual - clearly helping that Irish win
Best dressed was Ally Dunn, or so he kept telling everyone.
The NewsRoom would like to thank roving reporters and snappers, Graham Juber, John Barron, Skip, IPCJC and Peter Vogel
And finally…
After “BoaGate” where a snake seen on the course morphed and grew rapidly with each reported sighting we now have the GM getting a bit crabby at the putting green. Leave you to finish that pun
That’s All Folks…
