Last year the competitions committee followed the guidance issued by England Golf and made a decision to introduce a restriction on new members and existing members who could qualify or win a board competition.

The decision was that new members had to play 4 qualifying competitions before they could win a qualifying competition or a trophy competition. Existing members had to have 4 qualifying competitions or 4 general play scores before they could win a qualifying competition or a trophy competitions.

However, the committee at their October meeting have discussed this rule and decided that they have removed these restrictions for all 2025 competitions that include the winter competitions that have started this month.
