Sand paths are no-play zones
Taking relief from temporary paths.
Holes 1,5,11,14,15,16,17: Temporary paths have been laid on these holes. Players MUST take relief from these and CANNOT play from these areas

Rules 16.1f and16.1b
• The area defined by the edge of the Sand paths on the above holes are no play zones that are treated as an Abnormal Course Conditions. Relief must be taken from interference by this area under rule 16.1f using the procedure in 16.1b for an abnormal condition in the General Area

Additional information
• Relief area: 1 club length from the Nearest point of complete relief.
• Failure to take relief and playing from this area will incur a general penalty for playing from the wrong place under 14.7a
• The area is defined by the normal edge of the sand; relief is not allowed for any spilt or moved sand that is clearly not part of the path.
• All other paths are unchanged in terms of status (artificially covered – free relief, if purely worn down and not artificially covered; relief is not allowed)
• In taking relief the player can use the original ball or any other ball
