Winter Course Layout

Winter Rules
Please note that Sunday 27th October 2024 marks the last day of golf for the summer playing season. Winter golf rules will commence on Monday 28th October 2024 and will remain in place until Friday 4th April 2024.
During the period of winter the following rules are in place
* All balls landing on fairways must be either played from a mat or alternatively lifted, dropped and played from the semi rough.
* Those members wishing to use electric/push/pull trolleys must only do so if your trolley has winter wheels fitted. You will not be allowed on the course if you do not have winter wheels.
* -Given the damage that electric trolleys can cause, if you can carry you bag, that would be greatly appreciated.
* Ride on buggies are permitted when ground conditions allow - Please check with the Pro Shop for the latest status.
* We will rope off areas to divert traffic, and these will be moved as and when necessary
* This year, as well as regularly moving roped off areas, we may occasionally use marker paint for areas where trolleys are restricted. This should help spread the wear which often tends to closely follow along the roped line.
* Main greens will be in play as much as possible throughout the winter and when weather allows. Winter greens will be in use when required by frost or other weather conditions. If winter greens are not in play - GUR and no play area. Plan to keep 4th open as long as possible but on occasion of frost or becomes too wet it will be closed, with fence in- situ up at both paths and update club v1 to use the extra hole at the chipping green.

2-seater rental buggy will not be available to hire when winter rules are in place.
