Mens Kent League & Quadling Cup
End of Season Standings & Report
The Mens Kent League drew to a close last weekend with the playing of the end of season Quadling Cup fixture.

A Team League was won by Gillingham, who managed to go the entire league season undefeated and won an impressive 3 games away from home. Kings Hill finished in 7th place, only 3 points from 5th.

B Team League was won by West Malling who prevented Gillingham from doing the double by half a point. Kings Hill finished in a very respectable 3rd place.

The Quadling Cup was played at Sheerness this year and was won by Mid Kent led by a fantastic performance from their star man Ollie Lewis Perkins (+4.8) who shot a 5 under back 9. The Kings Hill team of Ed Stocker, Max Saville, Brandon McCormack and Paul Miskin put in a solid performance to finish 5th.

I'd like to extend a big thanks to Pete Russell and Luke Shields for doing a great job of captaining the two teams during the year. It's never an easy task to manage teams and the guys have committed their own time and energy to run the team as well as they can. Pete will continue to run the A Team next year and after 2 years at the helm Luke will be passing the baton of B Team captaincy to Brandon McCormack and Luke Bradshaw for next season.

Thanks to every player who has turned out and represented the club this year, some at very short notice.

Cheers
Allan
