The Williamson Qualifier 5 saw 84 players battle some difficult conditions on Saturday. The scoring remained good with 13 players playing to their handicap or better than. In Division 1, John Bell (10) took 1st place with a great score of 39 points, he went out in 37 strokes for 21 points and back in with 41 and 18 points. Michael Kelly (10) took 2nd with 38 points and Adrian Little (6) in 3rd with 37. The best gross score on the day was a 74 from Mervyn Evans (4) who had 37 points as well.

In Division 2, Stephen Kirkpatrick (19) took the honours with 39 points. Like John Bell he had 21 points on the way out and a steady 18 points on the back. 2nd place was Brian Davidson with 38 points and Andrew Little took 3rd place with 38 also.

The Order of Merit saw a few changes with the current leader Simon Pritchard not playing. Adrian Little, Andrew Little and Michael Kelly join the top 4 with good scores this week but remain 200+ points behind Simon.

The next Williamson is this coming Sunday (10/11) and is almost full already which is great to see.
