A couple of comps to report back on. Winter League 2 & 3 and Singles stableford.
Singles stableford
54 took to the field on a nice mild day and the course seeming to have dried out quite a lot. Some tricky pins set up I didn’t see the scoring being so high. However, taking the victory this week, somehow managing to find a swing between herding sheep and milking the cows, was our very own cowman, Micky Berrisford. 44 points is awesome mate and with decent cut incoming I wonder if Mr Price will be coming for you too. Well played.
Taking Div 1 is the ever-present Glynn Taylor, with 41 points. Bit of form coming in by the looks of it Glynn.

38 pairs playing in what I am now hearing was on quite a wet course. Yet the scoring still came in regardless. Taking victory with 44pts is long standing partnership Rob Barrett & Vinay Adatia. 2nd went to Sam Williams & Luke Robinson with 43pts, 3rd went to Nath Cotterell & Joe Daneil with 42pts. Winnning the battle of the Cotterells again I see Nath. Has anyone seen Jordan Cotterell…….ha ha.

Well into the winter season now. Turkey Trot a touch earlier this year in hope you may be able to get a Turkey ordered with your vouchers. With any luck we will be able to get a good few winter league rounds in before Crimbo.
I am also going to add a pairs scramble on Sunday 29th December, give everyone chance to walk their Crimbo dinners off.
