Williamson Cup
Williamson Cup Qualifier 6
Williamson 6 saw a full turnout on a cold and misty day. There was some great displays of golf with 15 players in Division 1 playing to their handicap or better and 4 in Division 2. Mark Wildey fired 40 points to win by 1 in Division 1. He shot a great 73 on the day, 21 points on the front and 19 on the back including a 2 on the 13th. Nigel Stanley took 2nd from Gary Pollard on countback, both with 39 points. Gary fired the lowest gross score on the day with a 70 gross, 2 birdies and 1 drop shot.

In Division 2, Martin Skowronek had a great 40 points to take 1st place. He had 16 points on the way out and a superb 24 points on the back nine (1 over par). Paul Langhorne took 2nd on 37 points and Andrew Irving took 3rd losing on countback.

We are now halfway through the Williamson Qualifiers, with 2 more to come this calendar year. Williamson 7 is coming up this weekend on the 16th and is filling up nicely with a few spaces left for booking.

Simon Pritchard still leads the Order of Merit, but his lead has narrowed. He sits 130 points above Michael Kelly in 2nd place. Adrian Little sits closely in 3rd place after another solid round last week. Mark Wildey and Gary pollard both move up the rankings after great rounds last week.
