Care of The Course
Keep all equipment away from tees and greens.
Hi all.

You have probably noticed the excellent condition of the course as we continue into the winter.

This hasn’t happened by accident and the green keepers have been working really hard, keeping up this standard and will continue to do so.

Unfortunately some member’s are not playing their part, the bunker’s are not being raked, pitch marks are not being repaired and there have been instances of members walking across tees with trolley and leaving their trolly on the tee. Also divots in the rough are not being repaired, which is really important in the winter.

But even worse some members, on their own buggies, have parked them on the fringe of greens causing damage.

Those of you who behave like this make it so difficult for the staff to maintain the course.

Therefore remember to keep all equipment away from tees and greens, there are areas away from green to park buggies, that will not hinder the members who need them. Also repair any damage you make to the course.

The terms of competition make it clear you will be disqualified if you fail to adhere to these rules.

Regards

The men’s committee.
