BGC to Host 2027 Junior Ryder Cup

As Captains of Ballyneety Golf Club we are beyond excited to share some extraordinary news with you, Ballyneety has been selected to host the Junior Ryder Cup in 2027.
This prestigious event is a monumental achievement for our club and an opportunity to showcase the beauty, challenge, and legacy of our course. It will be a celebration of everything that makes Ballyneety so special—our incredible course, our passionate members, and our proud traditions.
What to Expect:
• A week of world-class golf, camaraderie, and celebration.
• Junior Ryder Cup AmAm, practice day, 2 tournament days and a festival of golf for members and events for a few days after.
• We as Members have the opportunities to spectate, volunteer and play an integral role in this historic event.
• To see the incredible talent that will be on show, the future stars! Some past players include Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Justin Thomas, Lexi Thompson
To accommodate this historic occasion, the course will be closed for the duration of the tournament week. However, we are committed to ensuring that our members can continue to enjoy their golf during this time. The club will work diligently to arrange access to other courses for members throughout the week, so your golfing schedule will remain as uninterrupted as possible.
While 2027 may seem far away, preparations for this landmark event are already underway, and we promise to keep you updated every step of the way. Together, we will ensure this tournament becomes a cherished chapter in the story of Ballyneety.
