Barry's Texas Scramble is a Winner
Stag Dinner Competition
Men's Captain, Barry introduced a Texas Scramble format to the Stag Dinner Competition this year. 32 members enjoyed a delicious meal on Friday evening followed by the draw for the golf on Sunday. Following the seeded draw into teams of four, an auction proceeded with players able to bid on a team.
On Sunday the players encountered lovely fresh conditions with a shotgun start. The winners were Andrew Durman, Eddie Clark, Simon Reeves and Andrew Liggins with a net 56.77. Runners Up were Adam Burns, Ian Turner, Mark Canham and Kevin McDonnell with a net 57.88. Barry presented the prizes in what proved to be an enjoyable new format.
