A good crowd braved the weather on New Years day to see our new 2025 Captains tee off the year after their Star Wars entrance. Captain Alan Miller lead off the proceedings with a fine tee shot to the green, followed by Ladies Captain Jane Ackling, Seniors Captain Andy Burton and another great tee shot from Junior Captain Gabby Crowfoot.
Speeches and prizes were given in the clubhouse, with past Captain Martin Downing winning the nearest to the Captain’s tee shot.
Past President Norman Ellis introduced Richard Barker as the new Club President. The third generation Barker to hold this office!
