UPDATE - course protection and fairway mats
Update - fairway mats
Mandatory fairway mats were introduced following a prolonged spell of poor weather and the large amount of divots throughout the course.
The recent weather has been slightly better therefore, from Saturday 18th Jan 2025, fairway mats will no longer be mandatory but highly recommended. This will be reviewed daily (noted on Course Status app notifications), as per the trolley/carry only practice, and if the weather deteriorates or divots continue to not be replaced mandatory use of mats will be re-introduced on your course.
To help protect your course please ensure you replace divots (& repair pitch marks) and use fairway mats if possible. Preferred lies throughout the general play area remain in place.
Acceptable Scores (no changes)
While this daily approach remains in place scores in Competitions & General Play at Yelverton will not be acceptable for Handicap purposes.
