General Play Registration

During the winter months (November through to March), depending on the weather and course condition the tees are often placed very well forward of the measured courses to protect the teeing area for the main golfing months. When this happens, these courses are not acceptable for handicap.

Unfortunately, the Club V1 system does not allow us to individually suspend a specific set of markers and prevent members from registering and entering general play scores on the PSI screens.

M&H would please ask you to check the course status before registering for a general play. A good guideline would be the 14th tee, if the markers are on the mat the course will likely not be acceptable for handicap.

M&H will delete general play rounds from members WHS records on days that the courses are not valid.

Please note, this does not usually include the BLUE course which is a properly measured and rated course. So, if you really want to enter a general play you can do so off the blue course. Red tees are also unaffected.
