That Was the Week that Was
Christmas Fayre ho ho ho
On Saturday, we had finally managed to play part two of the Christmas Fayre, a four ball comp with partners having been drawn. A cold but dry and still day - the course still very damp under foot.

Coming in on 9, there were some seemingly disinterested spectators, head scratching at the tee position and more intent on a drink - well it was the Christmas Fayre!

And as we all know, the Christmas Fayre is all about the prizes with goodies on offer down to tenth place for the singles and 15th for the fourballs. Obviously the rumour that the GM had spent all morning fudging a few sell-by dates had got out, as it wasn’t the best of turnouts for prize giving, which took place around 3.15ish in the cube room. It also explains the somewhat random choice of photographs.
