EGM

Counter Proposal:

The Club Committee yesterday (Tuesday 4th February 2025) received the following counter proposal which has been signed by 29 members.

The counter proposal states:

We therefore propose that should the 10% be rejected, the committee are given the power to raise fees by between 5% and 7.5% as they believe is necessary to ensure sound financial stability of the golf club.



The committee have acknowledged this counter proposal and should the 10% be rejected at the EGM, the committee suggest 6.5% increase is implemented.



The committee have agreed the EGM scheduled for Tuesday 11th February, will still go ahead incorporating the counter proposal received.

This is because the renewal membership bills need to be prepared, issued and distributed during March.



Club Vice-Captain Ballot:

The Club Vice-Captain nominations list closed on Saturday 1st February as there are two nominations Jayne Hunt and Dean Smith, a ballot of all attending members will be held at the EGM.
