Looking after your Course

We all understand that everyone who plays on our golf course has a role in keeping it in good condition. Lately, we have seen some areas that need more care, especially when it comes to fixing pitch marks and raking bunkers. The image to the left is of the greenside bunker on the 10th hole, which was raked by our green staff that morning, and then left without any attempt to repair the footprints.

We ask that you follow these simple but important steps:

Fixing Pitch Marks: When you hit a shot onto the green, please take some time to fix any pitch marks made by your ball or others on the green. Using a pitch mark repair tool, gently push the sides of the mark toward the middle, then tap down with your putter to flatten the surface. This small action helps a lot in keeping the greens smooth and healthy.

Raking Bunkers: If your ball ends up in a bunker, please make sure you rake the area well after your shot. Use the rake to even out any footprints, ball marks, or other disruptions. Properly raked bunkers not only look better but also provide a fairer playing experience for everyone.

Your cooperation is vital in helping us uphold the high standards of our club.
