It is my very sad duty to inform members that Pat Bowles passed away peacefully on 31st January 2025 following a long illness.

Pat, who was 88 years of age, was a very longstanding member of Druids Heath having joined at the inception of the Club in April 1974, he quickly became a popular member particularly with his regular group of close friends and then the wider membership.

He was a quiet gentleman, not one for seeking the limelight, but honest and true. Pat has been sadly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of his company or acquaintance, since he ceased his playing membership in 2020, which proved to be the onset of his illness.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Brenda, and the wider family at this very sad time.

Funeral arrangements are as under:

1:00pm on Tuesday, 4th March 2025, at Sutton Coldfield Crematorium.

Family flowers only but donations to Cancer Research UK in his memory would be welcomed.

Following the service there will be a reception here at Druids Heath to support Brenda and to remember happier times with Pat.
