A visit from Lord Clinton
Course tour followed by lunch
Last month we were very pleased to receive a letter from Lord Clinton advising that he was delighted to follow in his late Father’s footsteps and accept our invitation to be the Club’s Patron.
We are currently looking for a suitably prominent place to display his letter of acceptance. Lord Clinton’s letter made a point of expressing his wholehearted support for our efforts to “regenerate the heathland” so we took the opportunity presented by his letter to invite him to the club to witness the recent restoration work for himself.
The lunch which we hosted provided a great opportunity to discuss the longstanding association between Lord Clinton’s family and the club.
