Introduction to Stableford
Calling all novice golfers! Have you wondered what purpose is served by the stroke index of a hole? Are your fellow players speaking a different language when they talk about getting 3 points on a hole - or a blob? Well, come and unlock the mysteries of Stableford!
The plan is to gather in the clubhouse at 2pm on Friday 11 April for an initial introduction, then head out on the course from 3pm for 5 holes, with an emphasis on counting shots and working out Stableford scores. Finally, back to the clubhouse for a debrief and question time.
If you are interested in participating in this event, please email sarah@lythamgreendrive.co.uk. If you are an established golfer with a patient demeanour and would be willing to caddy on the day, then you can express your willingness to help by emailing Sarah.
